This agreement states the full general terms for enrollment. Families may review it online before applying, and a parent or legal guardian signs it during orientation.
1. Parties, Term, and Enrollment
This Preschool Terms and Conditions Agreement (the “Agreement”) is between Blissful Beginnings Preschool (the “Program”) and the signing parent or legal guardian (the “Parent”) for the child identified on the signed orientation copy (the “Child”). The Agreement applies to the Child’s participation during the 2026–2027 school year, beginning on the Child’s first scheduled class day and continuing through the Program’s final scheduled class in May 2027, unless enrollment ends earlier under this Agreement.
The Program is designed primarily for children who are four or five years old by August 31, 2026. A child who is three by that date may apply and may be admitted only after an individual review of developmental readiness, available space, and instructor approval. Approval for a younger child may be conditioned on a stated trial or review period. All enrolled children must be fully potty-trained. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance or a particular session. Enrollment is complete only after Program approval, receipt of the registration fee, and receipt of all required forms.
2. Class Sessions and Program Calendar
Regular classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The morning session is 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and the afternoon session is 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Child may attend only the session confirmed by the Program. The afternoon session may be offered through a waiting list when capacity is limited.
The Program follows the Richland School District calendar for holidays, scheduled breaks, and closures. Classes begin approximately two weeks after the District begins classes and conclude in May 2027. The instructor may take up to three personal days during the school year and will communicate a closure, substitute arrangement, or schedule adjustment as early as reasonably possible. Monthly classroom calendars and activity plans may be adjusted when the instructor determines that a change better serves the children or the Program.
3. Tuition, Registration Fee, and Payment
Tuition is $1,485 per student for the 2026–2027 school year. Tuition may be paid in full or in nine equal installments of $165. Monthly installments are due on the first day of each month from September through May. These payments are installments of the annual tuition and are not calculated by attendance or by the number of scheduled class days in a particular month; tuition is not prorated for the Child’s absences or scheduled calendar breaks.
A non-refundable $75 registration fee is required to complete registration and reserve an approved place. Payments may be made by cash, check, or Venmo to @lissarosey. A $40 fee applies to any returned check. Any different payment arrangement must be approved by the instructor in advance.
4. Attendance, Arrival, and Release of the Child
The Parent will notify the instructor when the Child will not attend class. The Parent will arrive on time for drop-off and pick-up, use care around other arriving and departing families, and follow any communicated parking or entry instructions. Persistent late pick-up may result in dismissal from the Program.
The Program will release the Child only to a parent, legal guardian, or other person designated by the Parent. If a person who is not already designated will pick up the Child, the Parent must notify the instructor in advance and provide enough information for the Program to identify the authorized person.
5. Health, Illness, and Emergency Information
A Child who shows signs of illness must remain home. The Child may return after being symptom-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing or other symptom-masking medication. If the Child becomes ill during class, the Program will contact the Parent or emergency contact, and the Child must be picked up promptly. The Parent will keep allergy, medication, physician, insurance, emergency-contact, and other material health information current.
A separate Consent to Treat Minor Child form is required during orientation. That form governs the Program’s authority to seek reasonable emergency or urgent medical care when the Parent is unavailable. This Agreement does not replace that separate medical authorization.
6. Classroom Participation and Family Responsibilities
The Parent will send the Child with a standard-size backpack, review and empty it regularly, and provide clothing appropriate for possible outdoor play. The Program generally provides classroom snacks and drinks. The Parent must disclose food allergies and obtain advance approval before sending food for the class to share.
When the Program schedules sharing time, the Child’s item should remain in the backpack until the instructor requests it. Toy weapons and other items that are unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate for the classroom may not be brought to class. The Parent agrees to review Program communications and monthly calendars for supplies, activities, celebrations, and schedule information.
7. Field Trips and Special Activities
If the Program offers a field trip or other activity away from the regular classroom, the Program will provide activity and transportation details and may require a separate permission form. The Child may not participate in an activity requiring permission unless the Program receives the signed permission form by the stated deadline. Any activity-specific permission or transportation terms control for that activity.
8. Behavior Support and Program Dismissal
The Program strives to maintain a positive and inclusive environment. When a pattern of excessive disruption, aggression, or another significant behavioral challenge arises, the Program ordinarily will observe the behavior during an initial four-week period, implement age-appropriate strategies, and communicate progress to the Parent. If sufficient improvement is not observed, the instructor will request a meeting with the Parent to develop a collaborative behavior plan and specific interventions for an additional two-week adjustment period.
At approximately six weeks, the Program will reevaluate the Child’s progress. If challenges continue, the Parent may be asked to attend class to assist with implementation of the plan. If reasonable collaborative efforts do not resolve behavior that continues to significantly disrupt the class, the Program may dismiss the Child. The Program may also end enrollment for persistent late pick-up or when a condition of a younger child’s approved readiness period is not met.
9. Withdrawal
The Parent must provide at least two weeks’ written notice to withdraw the Child from the Program. Notice should identify the Child and the intended final attendance date and should be delivered directly to the instructor by email, text, or written notice.
10. Private Parent Page and Media Choice
The Program may maintain a private Instagram page for activity and event photos. Access is limited to approved parents and guardians of currently enrolled students, and access details are provided after the school year begins. The enrollment form’s private-page acknowledgment confirms awareness of this practice; it does not replace the Parent’s media choice on the signed orientation copy. The Parent may change that choice prospectively by written notice to the instructor.
11. Related Forms, Communications, and Acknowledgment
The enrollment application, emergency medical authorization, any activity-specific permission form, and written session or payment arrangement remain separate records and supplement this Agreement for their stated purposes. If a specific permission form conflicts with this Agreement about the activity it addresses, the specific form controls for that activity. Program notices may be delivered using the Parent’s selected contact methods, and the Parent will promptly report changes to contact, pickup, emergency, or health information.
By signing the orientation copy, the Parent confirms that the Parent has reviewed this Agreement, has had an opportunity to ask questions, understands the Program’s terms and policies, and agrees to comply with them. Any exception to these general terms must be stated in writing and approved by the instructor.
